We have been friends with Carlos and Jennifer for over 30 years. Carlos has developed a unique skill set - Tiki Bartender. For his birthday, he hosted a Tiki Party and I have decided to share a few of the best recipes.
It all starts with the Scorpion Bowl. A scorpion bowl is a big bowl of tiki punch that is meant to be shared. All the ladies went in for a sip of this.
Next up - my favorite - The Pain Killer. This baby is a coconut pineapple pleasure.
Next up, Cindy and Jennifer shared a Jungle Bird. This is a nice light pineapple, lime and rum cocktail.
After the Jungle Bird, Carlos whipped up a couple Tradewinds cocktails. These have some pretty special and fancy ingredients. Seems like you are going to need to be a Tiki cocktail lover to have these in your pantry but here's the recipe for you die hard Tiki lovers.
Of course, every great party has to have food and Jennifer did a beautiful job of serving a buffet of carne asada tacos. And these tropical cupcakes were made by Marina!
